Positive: The apartment was clean, and the staff were approachable, and the host got back to us when we contacted them Negative: We stayed in this apartment for 10 days and unfortunately, our experience did not meet expectations. The surrounding area was an active construction site, which meant there was a lot of dust and general disruption throughout our stay. Inside the apartment, the kitchen facilities were insufficient for a group of five. For example, there were only two tea mugs and not enough cereal bowls. There were no serving bowls, very limited cooking utensils (no wooden spoons), and the plates were not microwave-safe, as several cracked when heated. Basic cleaning equipment such as a mop, broom, hoover, and toilet brush were not provided and had to be requested. There was also no linen change during our 10-day stay; we were advised to use the washing machine instead. However, there were no suitable facilities to put the clothes in after the wash, i.e., a bucket or laundry bag. The bedrooms lacked bedside tables and floor mats, meaning personal items had to be placed on the floor, and we walked on bare tiles. The apartment is advertised as sleeping five guests, but the sofa in the lounge is not a sofa bed and can not be used for sleeping, which caused significant inconvenience. There were no written instructions provided for essentials such as the internet or appliances. The air conditioning frequently malfunctioned, and a very loud alarm repeatedly went off; we had to investigate ourselves to identify the source of the noise. I had to contact the host numerous times throughout the stay to resolve issues. Although an early check-in fee was charged, I requested a waiver due to the overall condition and lack of amenities. I did raise all these concerns with the host, who acknowledged them and stated that improvements would be made for future guests. Overall, the apartment requires better furnishing, clearer instructions, and improved maintenance to be suitable for longer stays and larger groups.
